VINTAGE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients
- 150g. salted butter (mantequilla con sal, a temperatura ambiente)
- 80g. brown sugar (azucre moreno)
- 80g. granulated sugar (azucre branco)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (dúas culleriñas de extracto de vainilla)
- 1 large egg (un ovo grande ou dous pequenos)
- 225g. plain flour (fariña)
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda (½ culleriña de bicarbonato)
- ¼ tsp salt (¼ culleriña de sal)
- 200g. plain chocolate chips or chunks (trozos/gotas de chocolate)

Preparation
1. Heat the oven to 190C and line two baking sheets with baking paper.
2. Put the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar into a bowl and beat until creamy.
3. Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg.
4. Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt into the bowl and mix it.
5. Add the chocolate chips/chunks and stir well.
6. Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture and place them on the baking trays, spacing them well apart. You should have about 30 cookies.
7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are light brown on the edges.
